Momentum Responsibility

At Momentum Management Resources we believe that by embracing our responsibility to people and to the planet, we affirm our corporate values and breathe life into them – extending them from a statement to real action. We believe this brings sustained, collective value to our employees, our customers and society.

Greening our Environment

Running our company in an environmentally friendly way is good for the environment and good for our business. We’re working to conserve energy and reduce waste in the following ways:

  • » Locating our office on the light rail system for easy access via public transportation for employees and customers. We reward employees for using light rail by subsidizing Tri-Met passes and also support part-time telecommuting for most employees.
  • » Floor to ceiling windows with an open layout allowing daylight for most of the day and reducing the need for overhead lights. Interior offices have light sensors.
  • » Promoting recycling of all recyclable paper products with receptacles at each work station. We also encourage a paperless work flow to create more paperless processes and reduce printing.
  • » Refurbished workstations.

Investing in Communities

While we work to help our client’s grow their businesses and individuals grow in their careers, we also strive to be a trusted and responsible member of the communities in which we work and live. We do this by giving back to our communities through support and participation in our industry sector trade organizations and support of our local schools, and civic and cultural institutions. Momentum Management Resources offers employees eight hours of paid volunteer time each year to spend on the charity of their choice.

A few organizations our employees and company have supported over the years include ACG Portland, TechAmerica (formerly AeA), Software Association of Oregon, Oregon Staffing Association, Oregon Bioscience Association, Oregon Entrepreneurs Network, Parry Center, Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland Metropolitan Area, Cascade AIDS Project, Susan G Komen Foundation and Race for the Cure, Carefree Commuter Challenge, Beaverton Education Foundation, The International School, Hillsboro School District, Sunset High School, Sunset Youth Football, Sunset Football, Sunset Lacrosse, Beaverton Youth Lacrosse, US Lacrosse and the Olympic Development Program.
